A phenomenal essential oil, it has been used for several centuries by the Mayans and Aztecs. A soothing addition to skin creams and cleansers, this oil has a rich, vanilla—like scent. A natural substance that can crystallize at lower temperatures. if this happens, warm the bottle slightly until the crystals dissolve.

Medicinal qualities include being an antiseptic, and anti—inflammatory. Found to be especially aiding in throat related ailments. Asthma, bronchitis, and coughs can all be treated using this oil in aromatherapy.

Skin afflictions are quelled when used topically. Eczema, rashes, sores, and wounds can be treated because Peru Balsam is thought to promote the growth of epithelial cells.
